    Red Heliamphora roots

Heliamphora tatei var. neblinae x hispida (Wistuba)
    One of my personal favs

True red is more than just skin deep, it runs all the way to the root

(no extra saturation tweeks or processing)

    That's a mighty root system!

Do you think there could be a reason that the roots or red? Or is that just the way the plant grows?

i would have to assume many factors come into play, but it does seem unique to this particular plant (at least to this extent)

This is the same plant that was the top dollar plant in last years NASC auction

    (hint hint hint) LOL
