S. flava rubricorpora x purp venosa var. Montana seedlings (Ongoing Thread)

  • #81
Thanks brotha.
I'm so nervous.. The in-ground bogs I built were my last resort for getting my sarrs to survive the winter.
If nothing makes it, I'm afraid I'll have to give up on sarrs once and for all.

dont give up. if you have to, drive your plants a few states south to overwinter with a friend ;]
sarracenia are the bee's knees.

I also find getting sarrs through the winter hard. I have never been able to get the hang of it. erg.

Took it out of the terrarium today for pics. I love this plant. I really like the waviness of the newest pitcher. Cant wait to get it back in full sun.

Not what I would expect from this cross. Beautiful plants. Those ruffled lids are killer !

Here's an update on a few of these. Very nice hybrid.

First a couple that look like plain ol purp montana.

Now some really nice cats.
