yay! I saw something when I shipped it , the minor is putting up a new larger pitcher now, with a very nicely developed nectar spoon.

Well I was half right . Is the heterodoxa part why you can grow it on a windowsill? How much humidity is it getting there?
I've never measured the humidity there. I live in NE Scotland, so we don't get particularly high temperatures and get a good night temperature drop. This time of year day length is short, so the pitchers tend to get a little flared and the nectar spoon are a little small. Summer pitchers and spoons are stunning though.
