Not much of a collection so far, but I'm working on it...Heterodoxa x Minor (with 2 of the divisions) and a young Nutans.

No post processing other the resizing and compression.

To be honest, many of my helis were in desperate need of transplanting, they were in bad shape... but I can already see signs of improvement.
In a couple months I'll take some nice specimen shots for ya.... the helis are in da house!

You're partly to blame (and Varun!) for the motivation, your enthusiasm is contagious

Oh ya like yours are ever desperate. If we could all get even one Heli to look as awesome as all of yours, I'm sure we all would be satisfied.

Now as far as the enthusiasm... What can I say? ??? I can't help myself :-O

Here's mine. They grow so very slow for me. I'm apparently better at growing sphagnum than heli's haha. I need to trim the sphagnum back soon. I also need to improve my light as they don't color up much and barely get nectar spoons. Mine stay small too, except for the hetero which is finally starting to get a little size. Harsh lighting, sorry.

All of 'em:

Hard to see, but there's a glint of pulchella peeking out from the sphagnum. This heli puts out a pitcher every 6 mos. or so. Slowest growing plant I have.

Holy moss! That's gorgeous moss!!! Your Helis also look great, too! ...I just can't get over that moss. Lol

Yeah that sphag grows like a weed.

Exo, I really like your heterodoxa x minor. What kind of lighting are you using to get those nice nectar spoons?

How do you get your moss to grow like that, nightsky? I can't get my sphagnum to grow anywhere near as nicely as yours. What are the conditions and what lighting do you use?

same here my spag never looks that nice, it dries up too quick to look nice lol

these guys are in the greenhouse so not getting all the sun they should or would probably like. Just out of recovery room so might be a few more months before I move them to the outside and deal with full on sub tropical sun at 3500 feet elevation.

Sunblaze 48 T5HO with 8 bulbs, half of them 3000k and the other half 6500K, 9in above the plants.

Kalumaui your helis look great. Love those spoons.

for those who asked, I just don't let the sphag dry out. it all started as just a few sprigs of live sphag in each pot and became what it is now. It's harder to maintain at first, once it fills in it's easy. Mine gets humidity 50% to 85%, and I give it a misting once a day, watered thoroughly twice a week. I keep the pots fairly close and the moss filled in the spaces between. Just keep on it when it's new and sparse, do not let it get dry. Lighting is just 4 32 watt t8s. Makes the sphag compact, and it even gets red in winter when I can drop the temps better.

Really I need to get a t5 system. Exos and butches helis look fantastic.

Man! I love the elegant shape of that neblinae. BTW...nightsky, lol....I think we might have the same pulchella...mine is the exact same...swamped by live moss and grows one pitcher every 6 months. lol
Beautiful setups guys. :D
