    Flower Watch 2012

Yes, another ongoing tribute to Bugweed* who made a favorite pass-time of counting his Sarracenia flowers.

A very early beginning no doubt spurred by the warm weather of late.

Sarracenia leucophylla (four buds so far in this pot)

Here's the pic so maybe it did happen

    * For those who don't know who Bugweed is he is a Terraforums Moderator Emeritus with over 45 years of CP growing experience and one of the founders/originators of the North American Sarracenia Conservancy
Grand Hotel... always the same. People come, people go. Nothing ever happens.

I'm still waiting to see the flower buds pop up on mine. THis unusually warm winter may have them flowering early.

WOW! That is early! I have one hybrid that started sending up a flower in November that has just now opened. Freaky!

How funny, I logged in to see if anyone was getting flowers early this year as well! 3 buds so far... might need to speed up my timetables for doing divisions...
