NAN, what do you mean by "The hybrid everybody says is S. 'Judith Hindle'" Perhaps you are suggesting that this is another registered cultivar that has been contaminated by unscrupulous/ignorant growers?

Here is the official published cultivar type photo

    and some others

    Hi Bob

The plant was a Lowe's generically labeled as "Purple Pitcher Plant". Chances are it is 'Judith Hindle' since at the time it was being mass produced by AG3. But you can never be certain.

Oh, Tyler County, those are nice. Big, too, if I'm remembering correctly.

Nowhere near as good as you guys' plants, but I still love mine To try something different, I didn't prune them this season. Left to right: Judith Hindle, unknown hybrid and Leucophylla "Tarnok".

    S. minor 'Okee Giant'

    S. flava

this ones seed grown from the ICPS seedbank

    S. leucophyla 'Hurricane Creek White' (?) I traced the lineage of the plant, and it is supposed to be HCW but the pitchers are seldom big/wide like the "standard"
