Is my Sarracenia finally coming out of dormancy, or is this some other plant?

if your talking about that plant o the left its a weed

Yeah, I was talking about the little leafy-thing.
The pitcher & base is what I planted a bit ago. :/
I'll just pluck that out then.

Hope it wakes up soon!

hmmmmm..... that looks like weed to me

Well..it's still not out of dormancy. No growth.
At this point--it's probably not going to, and I should just toss it, right?

It depends... where are you growing it now? Outside?

it looks too far from death to just give up on it.

Where in the world are you? is it kept indoors, outdoors or under lights?

As previously stated it doesnt look dead, just in need of some conditions to get it goimng again.

It's growing outside. The pitcher has since withered and is completely gone.
There's no growth whatsoever.

Ahh
That I am afraid sounds pretty terminal, if you do pull it up, have a look at the rhizome and give it a gentle squeeze, if it is firm and still has healthy roots on it, it may yet be resurrected, but if it is a brown mush its a gonner. Of there is somne firm and some rotten rhizome, cut away the rotton part to a healthy part (white coloured inside) put some fungicide on it and replant, although disturbing it at this time of year is not recommended.

Best of luck - but I fear the worst.
Cheers

Dug it up--it was so rotten there was barely any difference between the rhizome and the substrate. Haven't smelled something that bad since my Scolopendra died.

Sorry to hear about that :-(. It probably was kept too wet which started the fungi.

I didn't keep it any wetter than my other Dionea or Drosera. Oh well.
