Another favorite by Jerry Addington, lueco "pubescent" x Redman. This thing is SUUPPPERR furry, you can kinda tell how much so by looking at the smaller pitcher.. I love petting it. lol.

Nice Sarr's Brie. Does the one purr when you pet it? ;)

  • #52
Lots of very interesting hybrids. Skywatcher is a cool one.

I love sarracenias. They are quickly becoming my favorite cp. Your sarras look great and have amazing flowers. Did you make any hybrids of your own?

  • #54
REALLY like that lueco "pubescent" x Redman. Cool through and through..

Yeah sarrs rule.. Thanks. :) and yeah I made a ton of crosses.. Cant remember them all off the top of my head but I have loads of fertile seed pods out there.. Cant wait for fall.

Thanks yo... yeah the pubescent one is super awesome.. I feel like I should give it a pet name, like a cat. LOL.

So today was phase 1 of pitcher trimming.. Cut off anything dead, dieing, laying flat or otherwise in crappy shape... Looks much better.. I also collected most of the seed pods.. Still have 2 holding on and green. Grrr.

Adrian Slack Imposter x Adrian Slack
Hank x Adrian Slack
purp montana x Doreen's Colossus
oreophila x rubricorpora "Best Clone"
Doreen's Colossus x Leah Wilkerson
lueco 'Snowflake' x Adrian Slack
Leah Wilkerson x OP
Tapestry x OP
Schnell's Ghost x Leah Wilkerson
Adrian Slack x lueco 'Titan'
Appalachian Spring x rubricorpora "Best Clone"

The pile. lol. I didnt expect to get this much from my meager little collection. And it wasnt even all the pitchers! The pile was easily 12-18" deep.

Some standouts:

A complex hybrid by Jerry Addington. One of my fav pots of youngins..

The lid on this one is fried already but I wanted to get a pic to hold me over til next season. LOL. This is S. "Nadine", another Jerry Addington hybrid. Very wide, frog mouthed pitchers.

That complex hybrid is gorgeous! LOL, even in the before pic your set up looked good. I gotta get out and do some bog pitcher clean up as well, without falling in this time, haha.
