Cephs, cephs, and more cephs

I've got a magic window!
I finally got around to dividing my Typical Ceph.

This is 1 of the 2 tank full of divisions.

wow nice!

very cool, how high do you keep humidity for new plants/divisions?

They look great!!!

just a few cephs there.. Hope they all take for you.

Nice plants! Can't wait until I can do that with mine!

wowee looks great is in a terrarium , and can i ask what mix do you use

Thanks

Typically whatever the house is. I usually start out spraying the tank a few days until I get tired of it..... so after 2 or 3 days I stop...

They look great!!!
Give them 3 or 4 days and they will look like crap, as most the pitchers die off them. Once they root and send out new growth, then they will look great.

40% peat moss, 30% perlite, 30% turface.

I thought I'd update what the cephs look like now.
As I stated above, it would not take long for them to look like crap. They looked like this in about a week.

But this is what shows everything is good.

Typical of ceph divisions. Glad you got quite a few so you will have many plants even after some die off.

So, you divided up the whole plant like that, or did you keep a larger 'display' clump as well?

I broke the plant down a lot further then I have in the past.

Here's what I've kept in the past:
cephsplit2.jpg

That's a 4" pot, and I ended up with 7 divisions.

This is what the current plant I kept looks like:

The pot is around 5 1/2" I believe. I got 31 divisions and 2 died. I obtained 29 plants from this division...

Nice work, 29 is very good! What you have kept will look great again shortly.

Any photos before dividing it?

Sure did.
That plant is the same clone I have pictured here.
How's it doing? Make it through all your crazy experiments?
