H. minor "Burgundy Black" & H. minor var. pilosa

Like cory said, its pretty easy. Heli can be unkillable beasts under the good growing conditions.

Ok, so what would you guys recommend as a beginner heliamphora?

H. minor x heterodoxa.

One of the easiest helis out there, and relatively common and cheap (for a heli:p)
attachment.php

It remains rather small, and doesn't require night cooling.

H. heterodoxa x nutans or heterodoxa x ionasii,

favi has a good thread just below this of his experience with one of those two... with nothing but a clamp light or two, and its looking awesome.
From the tone of the thread, it's his first too...

I find the heterodoxa crosses to be the most forgiving in my conditions, such as Heliamphora minor X heterodoxa and Heliamphora heterodoxa X ionasii. It's still necessary to get conditions suitable though.

UPDATE: Av8tor1 and me posted at the same time and interestingly we have both said the same cross :D

Once again, under my care, cold nights bring great coloration!
