cephy baby , will be a real pitcher some day ?

since ive lowered my photoperiod to 9 hours a day the cephs have slowed to a crawl ,
this is the last pitcher this plant will probably make till i increase the hours around 1st of January,
    .
    isn't he a cutie?.

he didnt quite make it , just half carnivorous leaf, half non-carnivorous leaf.
maybe i should have entered this for the calendar , oh well to late.

Looks like an intermediate between a pitcher and non-carnivorous leaf as it transitions to the winter growth phase. Sarracenia often do something similar when in transition from pitchers to phyllodia or when first coming out of dormancy.

I tend to find a few in the spring iirc when growth kicks back in to high gear. This one looks a bit different than many I've seen. If interested, I've assembled pics of my odd Ceph leaves / pitchers in my growlist.
