Those last four pictures of leuco venation are INSANE! The last one's practically neon!

Ah thanks for sharing Brie! Leuco are def my favorite sarracenia and can't wait to get back up to Jerry's place.

Drosophyllum growing in sphagnum?!?!? What the H? I guess they can grow in wetter conditions but are much shorter lived that way, usually acting as a biannual instead of a perrenial (reportedly, at least). Still, I've never seen that before.

....
Beautiful pics of beautiful plants :) I love the color modified pic (the last pic)!

Lovely, lovely, lovely photos! I can't pick a favorite, they're all beautiful.

Love the 'shopped last shot, great color!

LOL was waiting for someone to mention the Drosos.. They're actually growing in a mostly mineral media, slack potted with live moss in between the pots... then the pots are sitting in his sarr water tables.. The moss however, has gone buck wild LOL.. I was like "so uh jerry.. Can I do a little weeding on those Drosophyllum pots and take some of that moss home??" lol. he said sure, so the moss is now gone from the center of the pots and the plants have more room.

Nice colors on those leucos (had to laugh with that last one, but purdy pic), and loving that sea of purps x. Thanx for explaining the droso moss, was wondering how he did that. His dosos look fantastic. Thanx for sharing pics of Jerry's plants.

My leucos look like they are calling it quits for the season, sad to see them go to sleep.

As usual with Sarrs, I don't really know what I'm looking, but everything is so damn nice.

I want a sea of seedlings!

Wait.. what? Drosos growing in live LFS?!?!
Didn't even know that was possible.

Is that last pic fake? What is that ghostly plant?

Read previous post explaining the drosos on page 1. ;) And the last pic is indeed photoshop. Just seeing who falls for it. LOL

Brie, I must compliment you on the depth of field control in the pics. Something about the way they were shot. Really does the alien qualities of the plants justice.

Those are some well grown Sarracenia. Almost makes me want to grow them myself.

Ok, that makes a lot more sense :) I would have found it hard to part with such a perfect mound of beautiful sphag if I was him, but I guess he has much more than what's growing on the Droso pot :) I need to try that some day. It looks so cool!
