I'm not familiar with intermediate leaves. What exactly are they? What causes them?
They look like an aborted pitcher.

These are a little different from the normal mutated leaves (interesting phrase -- :-D ). It will be interesting to see them when they are fully developed.

Oh, so thats what that was. One of my cephs put one of those out once except it was larger than those and had distinct points on the edges. I eventually cut it off.
