Sarrs in CO

Good grief this page got long! All pics and no replies means a lot of scrolling apparently...
S. x bellii x 'Leah Wilkerson' Clone A, the mature giant pitcher. I'll have to wait for spring to see its colors, but the shape is great. That lid is especially fantastic.
S. x bellii x 'Leah Wilkerson' Clone A by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
The mouth has some interesting angles to it too
S. x bellii x 'Leah Wilkerson' Clone A by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
The first leucophylla Hurricane Creek plant threw up a "mature" pitcher
S. leucophylla Hurricane Creek Clone A by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
S. leucophylla Hurricane Creek Clone A by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
Also turns out the really tall new pitcher in the Baldwin Co. pot was not from clone E, but a surprise size jump by the new clone F
S. leucophylla Baldwin Co. Clone F by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
Clone E is far more white. This pitcher just recently opened, and this clone seems to have a tendency to "tent" its lids, the tip staying folded while the sides splay out
S. leucophylla Baldwin Co. Clone E by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
Clone B is still probably my favorite though
S. leucophylla Baldwin Co. Clone B by hawken.carlton, on Flickr

The SG flava rubricorpora clone A plant is becoming a very dark specimen
S. flava rubricorpora SG Clone A by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
(x courtii x alabamensis) x 'Candy Striper', Clone A. This pitcher recently opened, and is bindingly white

These next few pics are somewhat confusing. Thanks to what appears to be a grave mislabeling issue on the part of the seller I ordered these seeds from, I have a good handful of crosses that got mixed up. Now that mature traits are showing I am beginning to question their identities, and have begun to switch names on some of them. Hopefully as the rest of the crosses received at the same time mature I can become more certain of their true parentages.
The former x umlauftiana x leuco HCW seedlings are now labeled tentatively as 'Tapestry' x areolata "ruby Throat," due to the red hoods and other traits that don't add up.
Clone D
S. 'Tapestry' x areolata "Ruby Throat?" Clone D by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
Admittedly Clone C gives me a real headache, as it does match an umlauf x leuco hybrid, but the other maturing plants don't
S. 'Tapestry' x areolata "Ruby Throat?" Clone C by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
Clone B
S. 'Tapestry' x areolata "Ruby Throat?" clone B by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
Clone A
S. 'Tapestry' x areolata "Ruby Throat?" Clone A by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
The former 'Tapestry' x areolata are now tentatively 'Plum' x 'Snowflake', with the traits I saw as alata now attributed to the oreophila in the parentage. this is clone A
S. 'Plum' x 'Snowflake' ? Clone A by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
And 'Plum' x 'Snowflake' are now x moorei 'Adrian Slack Imposter' x 'Leah Wilkerson'. 2 seedlings shown
S. x moorei 'Adrian Slack Imposter' x 'Leah Wilkerson'? by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
S. x moorei 'Adrian Slack Imposter' x 'Leah Wilkerson'? by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
The majority of the crosses appear to be correct, which is good as I received a good two dozen or more crosses all at the same time, which would have been a lot ot go through if they were all mislabeled. One of the correct ones is flava rubri x 'Adrian slack'
S. flava rubricorpora x 'Adrian Slack' by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
One label was unaccounted for, but the former 'AS Imposter' x 'Leah' plants I noticed had a strangely wide appearance, which I can now attribute to x umlauftiana x leucophylla 'HCW'. Clone a fits pretty well too
S. x umlauftiaa x leucophylla HCW? Clone A by hawken.carlton, on Flickr

Yeah, not Sarrs again, but I have an update:
Clone A is producing vegetative leaves, and big ones at that.

Clone B, however, while smaller now has the biggest pitcher

S. 'Tapestry' x areolata "Ruby Throat?" Clone C by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
S. 'Tapestry' x areolata "Ruby Throat?" Clone D by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
This seedling was formerly Clone C of the above labeled cross, however it is a dead ringer for the original label of x umlauftiana x leucophylla 'HCW'. This tells me at least one seed was properly labeled, and unfortunately I may not only have to deal with mislabeling, but also mixed seeds, much like in my 'Cinnamon Tube' x AS and 'Ritchie Bell' x AS situation below
S. x umlauftiana x leucophylla 'HCW?" by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
The shape of this plant I attribute currently to oreophila, which looking at my pure oreo seeds and a couple other hybrids may well fit

These guys are back to giving me a headache. I'm not sure anymore this batch resembles enough the cross they are currently labeled as, especially with the seedling that popped up in the 'Tapestry' x areolata? pot

Growth is slow on my leuco "red" x flava atro seedlings, but there's some promising color here.
S. leucophylla "red" x flava atropurpurea by hawken.carlton, on Flickr

I recall how many seedlings were in each pot, but of course after the mess not which seedlings were where. So, naturally I now have plants of all 3 in all 3 pots, and some are hard to tell apart....

I seem to have bad luck with first flowers this year.... first I broke off my flava rugelii A x B flower (still managed to collect pollen though), then broke the 'Mardi Gras' flower and found out later said plant had rot... and then there was this flower, which wilted due to rot in the very center of the rhizome... grrr!!!!
S. (leucophylla x flava) x leucophylla by hawken.carlton, on Flickr
Also, my first oreo flower that opened, wilted due to the first EVER rot attack on that plant. I hope I have removed all of it, and there is no sign of it anywhere else, so hopefully the rest of my flowers will live.

So, got some bad news first: dealing with a major rot issue inflamed by the stupid CO up-and-down weather, so I have lost some of my fav plants: 'Snake Bite', 'Leah Wilkerson' x flava rubri "rugelii clone," 'Mardi Gras' (again), 'Judith Hindle' (again), flava rugelii x oreo, and battling it on my main oreo, (rubra x oreo) x rosea and a few others. And, trying to save my flava rugelii A x B from rescued growth point tissue. ARRRGGGGG!!!!
Hopefully, now that weather is actually getting and STAYING warmer I might have a chance to repot and get everything else growing. But, doom and gloom over, a few pics:

Things are finally waking up in the back yard, and some plants have okay pitchers on them. I fear I may have to replace the (rubra x oreo) x rosea, as he's just about gone, but at least 2 of the oreo divisions have survived, and most other things just still need that repot.

Lol I was about to say that you have amazing variation on your 'cinnamon tube' x 'adrian slack' plants until I noticed that they were dif clones.

Great pics! I particularly like your S. 'daniel rudd' x 'janus' & the flava rugelii the most.
