Cepholatus shipping, minor accident.

Hey guys, I received a little ceph in the mail today, I've got some pictures and I was wondering if you had any input. The soil got shifted around, the plant and it's surrounding soil seem to have been moved up a little bit.

You might be able to tell that there is a soil "void" and that it is raised up a little bit on the right side.

It's hard to see when you can't actively change your true reference point.

looks fine to me. I wouldnt worry about it too much. as long as theres no air pockets benenth you are good. just top water it well and the soil will shift back into place.
since it shifted already it wouldnt hurt to repot at this point. just sit the entire plug in a new pot.
 
The pot has no drainage, so I'm afraid of watering it too much. I attempted to fill the pitchers with some water.

After replacing the soil, there probably are still some air pockets, could you tell me why that could be harmful?
 
poke a hole in the bottom. I use those dixe cups all the time and the first thing I do is poke a hole in them so that they drain. also if you sit it in water it will wick water up.

im sure there are alot of scienctific reasons why air pockets can be bad. I just avoid them. I had a plant decline and noticed there was a pocket. fixed that and the plant was fine.

Pushed the air pockets out and made sure the soil settled, poked 3 tiny holes in the bottom and am letting it drain into a little cap at the bottom of its terrarium.

Be careful of too much humidity and not enough airflow, that can lead to crown rot. As a minimum remove the cap off the bottle top, it will still raise the humidity but will allow more airflow.

I have so many plants in those 2 oz white solo cups :)
 
I'm monitoring the temperature carefully as to not speed along rot. Per your advice: I'm waiting until tomorrow to remove the cap, so I can establish high humidity faster, I know that sounds weird but it's like 10-20% humidity in my home right now.
 
Alright guys, check out this update, it's been doing good, but it does have one dead spot on a pitcher. I haven't observed new growth, but it's hard to tell.

No more dead spots, new pitchers continue to inflate (none opened yet) all is good in the world.

Look at him, he's pretty happy, new colors and the new pitcher is growing fast!

The drosera has also grown significantly.

Colors up a lot easier than the drosera.
