anyone have a purpurea x judith hindle ?

anyone have one, or seen it? if not, then could it turn out to have wider, stronger pitchers? because when it rains, the water gets filled up in the pitchers and they collapse, knocking down other nearby pitchers as well..i heard somewhere that purpurea pitchers can get knocked over, but stands right back up. i know crossing different species can result in different looking offsrping, but could it produce something similar?

Hi there
Such a hybrid would have a hood which was even more open to the rain. but it should be sturdier. Every hybrid is different, so some crosses like that would lean towards the Judith Hindle side and not be so sturder, but others would lean towards the purp and be better.
Try looking around for some plants which have lids to keep the rain out, like flava, minor, leucophylla, or rubra or crosses between these species.
