Outdoor Pitcher Plants year round

Hello all,
I was wondering are there any plants that can survive a Chicago, Illinois winter outside? I would like to make a mini-bog but I am not sure if they can survive the cold.

S. Purpurea ssp. Purpurea could definitely make it. It grows in Canada and Northern America, so it can take the cold!

With adequate winter protection, pretty much any Sarracenia should be able to survive the winters there, if they are in the ground. A good layer of mulch, combined with snow, should keep the rhizome from getting too cold.

try S.Purpurea and Leucophylla:) i live right on a cost line you can see the beach from my house! it gets teally cold down here and my plants love it :-D
