Will frost hurt the flowers of S.Purpurea or any other Sarracenia?

Hi Nep G.
That depends whether the plant has been acclimatized to outdoor conditions, if yours has been grown outside, then the plant should be able to withstand a late frost.

You know the purp I showed everyone in the picture? The BIG red one? That is the one. It has grown outside all it's life or near ALL it's life.

Hi Nep G,
It should be fine then!

Ok! Thanks! I just don't want to loose them as they smell so wonderful! Just like a rose. But without the prickers and just death bringing pitchers!
