Hi,

many different forms of Sphagnum grow in my area. Big differences can be seen in light requirements for good growth.

Older H. heterodoxa might produce nice flowers:

probably peter's sphagnum is some hybrid he created with the spores

Looks like plain ole Sphagnum to me...

Lots of light, moderate temperatures and lots and lots of overhead watering with high quality water... It will quickly become a weed

Yours is like a carpet in the ghouse lol. I suppose I'll have to wait until I get access to plentiful water. Then have the current sprinkler system become a waterer. (I hardly do any manual watering anymore, just once in a while) Then the future underbench system will be for humidity.
