Sarracenia purpurea ssp.venosa nectar.

Hi, I tasted the nectar on my Sarracenia purpurea ssp.venosa that scottychaos sent me and it doesn`t have any taste but it`s just rather greasy. Anbody else try this plants nectar?

A toad from the western US supposedlly oozes a hallucinogenic chemical. Maybe this accounts for the slow pace of postings in the reptile & amphibian forum.
