I was looking in my terrarium when i noticed a rather weird looking plump round mass was coming up from my purpurea.

i am no expert but it looks like a bloom is trying to come up.
is this the time for blooms? and do i even want it to bloom?

ive only had the plant about 2 months from home depot.
didnt think it would bloom so soon?

i can post a pic if need be tonight.

They should be in dormacy by now.

mines been doing great in it.
i can't put it outdoors, cause its too dry here in arizona.

but for dormancy, it will be going there soon. just havent yet.

i will take a pic and post it tonight, hopefully not too late tonight.

    - what do you do when your bog is full? you build another. and another. and another. then you buy some pots. and some more. and some more. and some more. then you wonder how much it would cost to rework the hydrology in your yard to place your house on an island. -

It's not unheard of for some Sarracenia to put up blooms late in the year. I see it mainly in flava's, and flava hybrids. Another explanation would be that your plant's timing is off (unless you're in the southern hemisphere). If it's been growing all year, I'd say it's just a late flower. I'd probably just cut it off and start putting it into dormancy.
