    It is fascinating and heartening to see these beautiful, healthy plants being grown on balconies in cities. It is nice to bring some nature with you when you live in the city...I grew Silene Regia in pots in my apartment for years. I rented a garden plot from the city, too.

    How tall is that S. moorei "big red"? I am assuming that fence is 48 inches, and that one pitcher looks to be taller than that [img]http://www.**********.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/new/smile_k_ani_32.gif[/img]

    Actually thats an illusion of the photo. The pitcher is about 20 inches tall. I have it sitting on a small table to get better angles to take pics of it.
