That is truly strange - I'm used to seeing twisted leaves, but they never straighten up and open normally like that!

I've got a flower scape that has also done a loop the loop.

I've had that happen with D. regia after catching a bug. Not with anything else though. Well, Nepenthes of course.

I'm suprised the hood opened up well. Whenever mine tilt the hood usually shrinks.
