I use a panasonic fz7 with the Raynox DCR-250 macro lens. If you have a camera with a 8x or higher zoom and a macro mode, this lens will allow you to use the full zoom when taking macro pictures (for example, the above pics were taken at 12x at a distance of 1 inch). It is very affordable, also, at about $45 for the lens.
