im trying to find a field guide to moss and lichen like the national audubon society field guides or something similar. i know ive seen one before but i cant find it on amazon or at borders. any suggestions
I have a few Field Guides to Ferns and Mushrooms but never found one of Mosses and Lichens - I would have bought it if I did come across one. Barnes and Noble had a huge 12" x 12" volume called Lichens of North America but it was over 600 pages and hardcover so it was like $80 or more.
I have a few but they are all out of print now.... I was able to find a few copies of my favorite one using amazon. But be prepared for a premium price
Milli, here is one that is still in print for less then 10 bucks (same booklet is 60$ used on amazon).
I have it and while its not really what i would call a field identification guide (non-technical), It is a keeper for the price, some beautiful pics...
