Stringy nectar on N. campanulata

I notice Nepenthes campanulata can produce lots of nectar, and the pitcher lid would drool with nectar after a while.

The fun thing is, the nectar gets real stringy as the pitchers mature. Ho ho.

The nectar on recently expanded pitcher is quite thin

I would use the word 'elastic'. It must have some really unique properties. You're gunna have me poking at my plants' nectar now ;)
 
That is unusual. I want to go poke my plants with a toothpick now.
