Im going to be moving in a few days and im a bit worried about the transportation of my little carnivorus beauties. Any tips on transporting them so they experiance the minimum amount of shock?
During my moves over the years, I have generally packed the smaller plants with mounds of damp long fiber sphagnum; covered them with plastic wrap with rubber bands; and bagged them up. On occasion, I have shipped them to a new destination in that manner without any ptoblems . . .
You can buy 5 and 10 gallon ziploc bags at places like Home Depot. They even have carrying handles. I just stand as many pots as I can in there and zip it up.
