Someone had a post about growing tips for D. scorpiodes and I wanted to take the summers survival post that Tamlin wrote and send it. All I got when I looked at the preview was the alphanumerics - but no treatise. This is what I did: Right clicked on post, clicked on properties, right clicked on URL, CTRL C, OK, went to box to post, clicked in the box, CTRl V. What is the correct procedure?

I believe you did everything correct, or at least in a way that works.  Just be careful not to include the ? that is at the end of the URL most often in the "Properties" list.

However, an easier way is to simply have your browser loaded to the page where e.g. Tamlin's article is and copy/paste the url which is located at the top of your web browser next to the word "Address".  This is a way without going to properties.

Then all you do is click on the blue " http:// " button above where you type your post. Then in the pop-up screen paste your url in both pop-ups or you can give yourself a creative name for your URL instead of displaying the text of URL only.

i.e.
Creative name or http://

Thanks, Aaron. I will give that a try.

Let me know if it works.
