Pot depth and soil mix

Is a 2.5" pot deep enough for most Drosera?
I would like to know the ideal depth for sessilifolia and  burmannii using the tray watering method.
Also, I am using 50/50 peat and perlite for some and 50/50 peat and silica sand for others.  All seem to be growing like little weeds...literally.  Evidently they like South Florida weather.  Maybe it is the laid back life style.
Anyone have a particular preference for either mix...or maybe a different one?

Except for pigmy dews, with the developed root systems, most Droseras should be just fine with 2.5" of soil. All mine have done so, so far.

dont forget tuberous

My burmanni are in a 6 inch pot along with my Cephalotus and are doing fine.

I use equal parts peat and silica sand for 90% of my Drosera, with good results.

happy growing,
