On saturday i bought a dendrobates luecomelas but commonly know as the bumblebee arrow frog. It is very small and he is in a five gallon tank with all the necessary equitment but i am planing to move it up to a ten gallon. For the medium i have from 2 to 1 inches of spnagnum moss. I am putting about 7 crickets in there a day but the crickets go in the spagnum moss. my problem is that i am worried about the frog not being able to get to the crickets and starve to death, so what should i do about my problem? ?

if kids were affected by video games we would all be running around in a darkened maze listening to repetitive music looking for fruit yelling yak, yak, yak, gobble, gobble, gobble, moo, moo ,moo.

Generally dart frogs prefer frut flies or other small insects, unless the crickets are pinhead size... Also, If they are small enough, Put them in a ceramic glazed dish that they cannot get out of, and then the frog will get some cheap shots to get his or her food GOOD LUCK!! A very easy way to feed smaller herps, especially the dart frogs is to:

get 1 deli cup with a cover (punch or melt little holes for air on sides or top

place a moist paper towel on the bottom

    place the frog in

place a few pinhead crickets in (about 4 at a time)

let them sit and he'll eat

    good luck-Zach
