That is a fantastic setup. When I kept mantids years ago I always wanted to make something like that but couldn't make it a reality. Really good job you did.

Thanks! It all still has to grow in yet, IIRC it's only been planted 2-3 weeks so far, the plants are all just small divisions of various things I have in my plant tubs and other terrariums. I'm hoping the moss will get going on the wood so I can mount tiny orchids and whatnot on it.

Did you ever have any Violin mantids? I'm trying to figure out why people say to keep them hot and dry when they come from a place that is as lowland tropical rainforest as you can get - as far as climate data I've found online for Kandy, Sri Lanka goes. But hobbyists keep them in a 90-110*F dry vivarium with dry twigs and then complain about them being hard to keep, having bad molts or getting stuck in their molts. I think a lot has to do with having the wrong environment... When I get mine they will be kept communally in an appropriately large & heavily planted warm and humid lowland enclosure that mimicks their natural habitat as best I can.
