Thanks for looking!

Coffee flavored, you say? I had no idea you went around taste-testing your Drosera! Very nice plants and photos, thanks for sharing.

You finally started one! :-D

Great Dews, great neps. Love that complex hybrids raff.

Nice looking collection!

great collection and fantastic pics!

Great plants, Drew. Really enjoying the aroma of that burmanii.

very nice pics Drew. i strongly suggest you feed the montana as much as possible as the flowering evidently set it back.

Very nice plants Drew, I especially like the way you have a LL neps set up, I may need to try something like that eventually.

  • #11
A beautiful collection. I've never seen a D. burmannii colored like that.

  • #12
Thanks everyone for your very nice comments!

@Paul: Can you really tell me honestly that you've never tasted one of your neps? :p
@Jon: I've been trying to feed it as much as possible. But there are some new leaves open, so I'll try to get it to recover.
@Exo: Thanks! It makes a nice living room presentation. As long as I use pretty pots the family doesn't mind

Your D. capillaris looks more like D. intermedia.

  • #14
It's a long-arm form, sometimes called sp. 'Belem.' I'm pretty sure that the ID is correct.

  • #15
Youuuuuu will send alllll your burmanniisssssss to Liiiilllllllllllllllllllllllll!

Love the pictures, Drew!

  • #16
Thanks! And don't worry, I'm looking to pass around seed when I have it.

  • #17
Now is the flavor more of coffee ice cream or dark roast or even iced coffee?

A quick update on the coffee. It looks like the tentacles are turning pink! I just took a few smartphone pics:

quite interesting. did you happen to change any perimeters?

  • #20
Not at all. I haven't been home much, so it dried out for a little. It may be that it's coloring up after I haven't fed it for a few weeks.
