Some closeup shots of small, yet interesting pitchers.
Clipeata x (clipeata x eymae). Not the full clip, but still starting to show some of those peltate leaves that the species is known for:

Singalana from Peter's Nursery. Slow but steady:
cp-oct2010-singalana001.jpg

This is the female equivalent of my thorelli x aristo. Both of these plants came from Capslock's stock:
cp-oct2010-thorxaristofem001.jpg

Ventricosa x ampullaria. It actually has a slight violet-purple edge to the peristome. This should be interesting when it's fully grown:

WOW nice singalana! And that purple is very interesting to me :p

...and peltate leaves! OMG I wish my clips would start doing that

First rain of the season. Took out my neps so they could enjoy water the way it was intended: From the sky - in little droplets:

cp-oct2010-nepcollection001.jpg

Afterwards, I did a little re-arrangement to best make use of the light - especially as the days get shorter and the sun travels along a lower azimuth:

cp-oct2010-nepcollection002.jpg

Some of these will have to be moved to a new warmer enclosure that I need to make to house my lowlanders. Last year, they suffered a lot as the result of being left out with the highlanders, so this year I'm gonna have to take special measures to maintain their habitat at temperatures closer to 80 degrees:

Say what.. first rain of the season?!?! I'd go insane if I had to go that long without rain. The plants look perfectly happy regardless though. And I love how the moss grows on those clay pots.

Thanks Steve! :) It's actually synthetic grass - like astroturf. One of these days I'm going to rip it out, put plastic and then a covering of pebbles.

Wow, I am incredibly jealous. GREAT greenhouse! Looks like you put a lot of work into it. Well done.

This makes me want to flee the city, get myself a place in the 'burbs, and pimp out the back yard with a massive greenhouse... just like that one. :D
