Pygmy v cranefly

Noticed this today. Feel sorry for the cranefly, like when a ladybug ends up in a pitcher. But proud of the little guy for snaging such a big snack. ( Nitidula x Pulchella I got last spring as gemmae.)

It's funny that you posted this because last week my D. scorpiodes took down a cranefly. These little plants pack quite a punch

That must have been a tiny cranefly, all the craneflies I seen are like 5-6 inches, sometimes bigger.
