    Something aboutthe name Steve and this forum....

    Hey, someone suggested that my growing conditions indeed were the cause of their demise - too much watering during the summer months. They're supposed to be drier and dormant. Although I've read that they don't have to go through a dormancy period. I see plants that are totally dead; dead up to the crown, where it is still green; and plants that are green and red.
