Hi,
I obtained Allen Lowrie's care sheet for these plants, and it had some interesting things.
He recommends for D. kennealyii and D. falconeri 50:50 peat/ sand(no shock there) and for the others, he recommends 60:40 peat/perlite. He also state sphagnum moss will not work. I have had mine in 60:40 perlite/milled sphagnum for a year. Ths was actually recommended by Sean Samia ("Petiolaris Sean" to those of you who know him). Here's his six-year old site with some excellent photos:

I have seen several photos of other growers who use sphagnum in their mixes(I am trying hard to not say "soil" in case Pinguicula Man happens by, lol).
I am also sure that some might use a higher sand percentage also.
So what do you folks use?
Cheers,
Joe
