Are the anthers ripe yet?

Nice flower pics! Not expereinced enough to know if they are ripe yet, though.

Are those tentacles on the flower? Is it dew?

That's great! I've never had the luck to grow byblis before.

The green parts with dew on the flower are the sepals. Cool eh? The flower bud has got tentacles with dew! I'll post a pic later.

I tried to germinate some B. liniflors last spring but was unsucessful. I hope to try again some time.

You, however, were wonderfully so! Very nice photos. Thanks for sharing them.

Yes, they are ripe. My 3rd flower just opened a few days ago. They are ripe as soon as they open.

Congratulations! I hope you get lots and lots of seed! Mine are starting to grow pretty well, too!

Congrats, Cindy! Hopefully, you'll soon be up to your ears in seed.

This is flower No. 2. Flower No. 1 self-pollinated and the petals withered before I figured out if the anthers were ripe or not.

I have done my part of sprinkling yellow powder on the purple furry ball.
