my D. indica seeds sprouted after about a week, and they are all in one pot. is it true that they have a growth-inhibiting chemical, or is that a myth? also, how delicate are the roots if i need to transplant?

It's a myth. The fragility of the roots isn't and these are best transplanted ASAP into a high sand content. I have heard some growers use nearly pure sand. They like it warm like the petiolaris group and not waterlogged.

i've got them in 2/1 sand mix, is that OK? heat isn't a problem.

how would i transplant them without damaging the roots (if they have any yet)

I use a loupe to see what I'm doing, a dissecting needle to gently tease them out of the planting media and deposit them into their new home. I'm assuming these are still very small seedlings.
