Sweet Drosera time lapse; bow to me!

Lol, I'm just excited. I finally made a time lapse with one of my plants, D. admirabilis. It's nothin' special. The only things to look at are a leaf on the left curling over some bloodworm, and also a leaf on the right unfurling. This is a collection of 34 pics, each at 15 min. intervals, from around 11:15 AM to 7:45 PM. Unfortunately, there is no time lapse feature on my camera.

Anyways, if you can even see it, there's this lil tentacle that bobs up a bit then down sort of on the middle-right of the plant at around half way thru the movie, dunno why it does that though. It's just barely visible.

Wow! I've been wanting to do a series like that as my camera has a time lapse function on it. I've haven't been able to get the special ring-flash and cable for a decent price off eBay yet though. Somebody always comes along and pumps the price way up

    Thanks!

I'm not sure. Mine didn't though; I did it all by hand. So that meant I had to always be in the house near the plant. I pretty much did nothing today. Lol

Check to see if you're camera has a time lapse mode or intervalometer. If it does, all you need is a tripod, set up the shot and set the time interval and number of frames you want to take.

You can use dpreviews.com buyer's guide feature search to find cameras that have this feature.
