Green D. burmannii close to the light, red far away?

Clint

Stay chooned in for more!
I had a pot of D. burmannii right under metal halide and it was green, and I moved it down to make space for something else and it turned red. What's up with that? Can anyone explain why it's red in less light?

It it matters it's a 250 watt Ushio... 5500K I think.

May not be light related. I know there is a fungus that is known to make plants go red...

Really? Well crap lol. The whole plant isn't red, just around the petioles. It's pretty lol. It's flowering.

I sprayed the whole tank with fungicide the other day when I cleaned, too :(

mine grew having green all over. that includes the long tentacles. but just recently those tentacles have gone red. not the whole plant. mine is also flowering. its very pretty contrast wise :)

Hey JLAP, what fungicide were you using in the tank? I'm still trying to settle on a good CP-safe one...

I use Schultz's insecticide/fungicide/miticide.
