Four days later (09 AUG 2007) - Scape measured at 17 inches from top of pot. Flower was fully open when I started to setup the camera. By the time this shot was taken, it had closed to this point. By the time I returned the plant to its growing spot the flower was closed... 1/2 hour probably.
 
Wow! That was much higher of a scape than the one I have! Great job!
 
yes, that is much taller than mine. mine topped out at around 13" or so...

is yours indoors or outdoors?

It's growing on an east facing windowsill with 2-4 hours of direct sun in the morning.

You can't see it from the picture but the bottom layers of leaves are covered with fungus gnats. I pressed it into fungus gnat control in my seedling tray for a few weeks. After that there was a noticable growth spurt leading up to the flower scapes.
