I normally place D. binata leaves in 50 ml centrifuge tubes, filled with water. And in a few weeks I can achieve 15-20 sprouts from each leaf. Has anyone just simply bent a leaf to the soil surface and achor it, to produce new sprouts?
I do almost exactly what you do. I remember somebody mentioned they did it....some FAQ? It does work no doubt. I used to cut the leaves and put them on the soil. Strangely, the stem(without the sticky part) sprouted as well. Couldn't do it again though. I'd stick with what you're doing. You use only the sticky part right? No/few stem sprouts?
