One of my D. regia sent out a forked leaf, never seen anything like this before...

Looks reminiscent of the two-headed Flytap syndrome and just as unrepeatable:

I've heard of the close family ties between D. regia & D. muscipula...

Mutant freak! lol. Maybe instead of curling around prey they sandwich the prey and slap together!

Hahaha... sometimes my D. regia will "fight" over a meal, where one leaf will capture prey and another one will reach over to get some of the action..
I'll be feeding this leaf when I get a new camera and see what it does and snap some pics!
