I thought it was gemmae...

.... they were just leaves. Why is this plant behaving like this?
 
It did make some gemmae and now it's starting to grow back. You can stil see some gemmae on the plant. I had plants do that without producing any gemmae. They stoped growing for a few weeks and when they started to come back they formed that structure of new leafs that look like gemmae.

So it is in some sort of summer dormancy at the moment?
 
No.
Its now starting to grow back.
It stoped growing for a reason (gemmae maybe) and now it's back on the right track.
 
The survivors, in general, are looking better, now that I put them back on the rack. Putting them outside was a bad move. All I have outside now is a stray callistos that's in with the D. regia.
