I Planted D. capillaris... What is This?

I planted D. capillaris, and this is what grew. Is this right? Whatever this is, it looks cool.

Devilishly handsome moss. ;) I'm pretty sure that's a red sphagnum strand you've got there.

I'm perfectly happy with that! I love moss, and I knew when planting it that the capillaris seeds might not work. I'm excited. It's probably lower maintenance than a sundew anyway!

It turns out I'm getting more red moss, AND my D. capillaris is growing. Soooooo... I guess I have to move my moss out so it doesn't suffocate my sundews. :-\

I'm scared. I don't want it to die.

Congrats! Propagate that nice red moss, it's quite pretty when used as a top-dressing for older plants. :)
