Pygmy drosera leaf pulling success!

ok, so someone wanted some D. x lake badgerup pygm plants from me, so I transplanted a couple... they died. :p But I also took some leaf pullings from a different plant... roughly a few weeks later I was very happy to look at one and see a small plantlet on the leaf! I have about three leaves with strikes.

here is a pic: (not very good though, sorry :( )

I would like to thank Aaron May (AKA CPlantoholic) and his website, I would not have tried this if he had never tried it, and showed it on his Sundew website. Thanks!

Congratulations! I know I'd butcher the plant if I tried that. So I do the gemmae thing instead.

haha, thanks! I didn't have any gemmae to plant.

Nice! How many did you pull? How's the strike rate?

I pulled all of the leaves off of the plant, although some of them were knocked over by my dumb cat and dried out.. all of the others got strikes, I think.

Congrats! I have to try this one day! :D

nice work, devon- glad you gave it a try!
