Drosera esterhuyseniae in South Africa

Hello,

this species caused some confusion with me, but now i think i got it! We only found them in the Fernkloof Nature Reserve near Hermanus.

So many of these plants aren't in cultivation in America.
 
Someone should change that LOL
 
I did grow this one thanks to someones generosity. This another case where I can't believe there is no valid publication. This sure looks like a distinct taxon to me, even so when I grew it and more so seeing the habitat photo's. Taxonomy too often bows to ego I think. Aside from those concerns, it's a great sundew and fascinating!
