I kept it in very high humidity for about a month and then it transitioned easily into lower humidity.

Wow, nice shots all. I certainly need to get some closeup lenses and try my hand.

    Beautiful shots and plants, everyone.

A handful of my plants are going downhill, and I've been loosing hope. But these two flowers have brough some of my hopes back. . . I never thought I would have a D. madagascariensis flower!

    Also, D. sp. "Floating" flower.

and my hybrid is showing a small amount of colour finally. . . D. anglica "Ca x Ha" x "Lantau Island"

Sorry about image size. I don't know how to resize images in pacasaweb.

My D. affinis, D. collinsiae, D. oblanceolata, and D. sp. "Lantau island" are also sending up flower spikes, so maybe I can make a couple of interesting crosses with the madagascariensis.

Coolness Devon! Madagascarensis is a tricky one for me, good to see some people have it right!

    Love that hybrid as well!

Don't worry, a lot of plants that are supposed to be easy are tricky for me.

    Thank you, sir.

They seem to like it hot, with high humidity and lots of light.

    D. ultramafica - about time to pot 'em up

    D. kaiteurensis seedings - about time to start repotting the alphas

Man-made D. tokaiensis (fertile) - the search for white flowered plants contiues
    (D. ultramafica seedlings on left of picture immediately below)

    Drosera pygmaea (seed grown)

    Drosera paleacea subsp. trichocaulis
Grand Hotel... always the same. People come, people go. Nothing ever happens.
