Since Droseras have become my main point of focus lately, I figured I'd start a new pic thread dedicated just to them.

D. villosa var. ascendens (Serra de Ponta Grossa, Campo Largo ~ Parana, Brazil) seedlings!! I've also got germination with D. oblanceolata (Sunset Peak, Hong Kong) and D. sp. "Lantau Island" seeds, but didn't snap any pics.

Well thank you! Can't wait for my new ones to break the surface. I'm currently waiting on these to pop:

D. browniana
D. bulbosa
D. erythrorhiza (Scott River)
D. lowriei 'Giant'
D. macrophylla ssp. monantha
D. marchantii ssp. marchantii
D. menziesii ssp. menziesii
D. modesta
D. zigzagia "Yellow Flower"
and 3 misc. tubers needing to be ID'ed.

I've got some Lantau Island seeds on the way along with some others.

I've got some Lantau Island seeds on the way along with some others.

The tubers are currently growing in their own section of the HL GH. Lot's of light, temps maxing out at 72*F. And dropping to about 58*F at night.

I, too, am fascinated by the red hairs on D. slackii. What do they do besides look cool? I'm also trying to sprout D. villosa seed. Nice shots, Mass. :-D
