I am quite fond of the capes. Been adding all of the other cape variations to this area. Updates coming soon to a theater near you..

From my collection, rotundifolia. I love the leaf shape and how they curl up around their prey. Outside of my collection... probably D. roraimae, they make such cool towers that they stack themselves up on Overall, I'd go with rotundifolia because I actually can grow them and I've been familiar with them pretty much ever since I was introduced to CPs.

There's something I love about Capensis and if I could only grow one sundew, it would be D. capensis. It looks very graceful, grows in a wide variety of conditions, the leaves move rather dramatically around prey, and is very easy to reproduce.

IMO, the cape sundew is probably the perfect sundew for any collection. Just because it's so common doesn't mean it shouldn't be appreciated.

As for tuberous dews, I have yet to grow but aspire to have Drosera gigantea. It's just so massive, like a tree of dew.
